About Basic
Karate Basic is fundamental to the development of a Karate student. Practice of Karate basics is more than performing the motions of the individual blacks, strikes and kicks. Practice of basic also includes:
practice of speed, power and focus,
eyes straight,
fists tight,
pulling arm pulled back,
shoulders square for strikes,
shoulders turned for blocks,
feet firmly planted with knees slightly bent
